NAIL DIARIES : Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat

I have been eyeing up matte nail polishes for a while now. I love the look of a matte finish on the nail. It looks neat and quite elegant I think, and it's also quite different from the normal shine finish of a polish. There are some really nice ones out at the moment such as the new Topshop Matte polishes for £6, and they have a nice range, but not a load of variety just yet.

But what about the masses of nail polishes we already have in every and any colour we could find!? Currently there isn't as much variety in matte type polishes and when in America recently, I discovered another great nail product by Sally Hansen that could transform any nail polish by mattifying it. This is a new product that isn't available yet in the UK, but will be soon! Also new in the range is the Big Shiny Top Coat, which glossifies your nails.

Intrigued by this, I decided to buy it and try it out and I have not been disappointed! As I haven't been able to find it in stores that sell Sally Hansen in the UK yet, I have linked the Sally Hansen website so that you can read abit more about it!

This has to be applied to completely dry nail colour, and is a slightly milky colour. You just apply one coat and within a couple of seconds you will start to see your nail colour mattify. It's great!

As an alternative, Inglot also do their own matte top coat for £8, and so do Butter London for £15.
